একালের ছড়া/ Modern Rhymes

ছোটদের জন্য মজার মজার অনেক করিতা লিখেছেন ফয়েজ আহমদ আর ছোটদের সঙ্গে বিশ্বের সাহিত্যের পরিচয় করিয়ে দিতে কতরকম অনুবাদের কাজই না করেছেন জাতীয় অধ্যাপক কবীর চৌধুরী। এক সময় তাঁরা উভয়ে মিলে তৈরি করলেন এক বই, দুই মলাটের মধ্যে বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে নির্বাচিত ছড়া সঙ্কলন। আর ঝলমলে রঙে এমনি বই সাজিয়েছিলেন দক্ষ শিল্পী সৈয়দ এনায়েত হোসেন, ত্রয়ী প্রতিভার সম্মিলনে প্রকাশিত এই বইয়ে ছোটদের জন্য একই সঙ্গে মিলবে আনন্দ ও শিক্ষা।
Faiz Ahmad has written many memorable poems for children and National Professor Kabir Chowdhury has worked relentlessly translate classics of world literature for young readers. Both have joined together to bring out this selection of Faiz Ahmad’s poems in Bangla and its English renderation. There- after Syed Enayel Hussain made it presistibly attractive for the child by his fine work of brush and color.
